Doubting Thomas
Scriptural thought of the Day: Deuteronomy 32:7 " Remember the days of old; consider the years of past generations. Ask your father he can tell you;Your elders, and they will inform you." At first Glance: Reading the bible is personal. After reading the above text what jumps out at you? I noticed the three things we should do. Research or look at the past, Ask for help from your parents or guardians, Ask other older ones who have wisdom gained through experience. My question was ;"What's the context?" So I read the entire Chapter to see the surrounding verses to get a better understanding of who why and when was this research being done. What I learned was these were the instructions God was giving the nation of Israel through Moses. They had caused him much pain and displeasure. They had forgotten their God. He was reminding them who he was and what he was capable of. However, he wanted them to come to that conclusion not from what other people had to say but...
