Letter From the Editor:

Dear Readers,

In 1987 Randy Travis had the biggest country hit of the year with Forever and Ever. I remember hearing that song so much I got tired of it. It was a great song but sometimes I just get tired of hearing the same thing over and over. You listen to the radio today and you'll here the same ten songs all day long.

I looked at the songs that hit the top 100 of that year and the song that jumped out to me was
Do Ya by K T Oslin. I think my sister listened to her cassette over and over and it grew on me. I also loved fishing in the dark by the nitty gritty dirt band.

In one record it has her middle name recorded as Deloan and yet on the tombstone it is recorded as the initial E.

Does  anyone know her middle name?

Carl Dean "Dolly Parton's husband "

I'm kinda new to the Country Music scene. I have written a few songs and I'm trying to get them demo ready. I'm hoping to promote  them to some big city Nashville executives" soon but honestly I could care less who buys them or records them as long as I get paid. That being said I'd love to get one of my songs in the public eye. Dolly Parton had a song she wrote go above and beyond her expectations entitled "Jolene". She says she wrote that song because of her husband. I guess maybe at the time she was jealous of this Jolene. I don't know. I hope one of my songs ends up doing that well too.
