Obituary:

Danny Harrison O'Neal Jr.

BASIN — Danny Harrison O'Neal Jr. 28, of Basin, left this world to be with our Lord on Saturday, September 5, 2009, at his residence.

Born March 12, 1981, at Mullens, he was the son of Danny H. O'Neal Sr. of Alpoca and the late Tammy Sue Mills O'Neal.

In addition to his mother he is also preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Dillard Mills and paternal grandparents Benjamin H. O'Neal and Francis O'Neal.

Those left to cherish his memory include his three children, who he loved very much, Benjamin, age 7, Chelsey and Kelsey age 41⁄2; a sister, Shelia O'Neal, and maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Bishop Mills, of Basin.

Danny will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, September 10, 2009, at the Herndon Freewill Baptist Church, Herndon with Rev. William O. Tolliver officiating. Burial will follow in the John Riley Shrewsbury Cemetery, Osborne Ridge, Herndon.

Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church.

Pallbearers will be Kermit Lambert, Anthony Lester, Teddy Tolliver, Glenn E. Gray III, Andrew Cross, and Lawrence Webb.

Carl Dean "Dolly Parton's husband "

I'm kinda new to the Country Music scene. I have written a few songs and I'm trying to get them demo ready. I'm hoping to promote  them to some big city Nashville executives" soon but honestly I could care less who buys them or records them as long as I get paid. That being said I'd love to get one of my songs in the public eye. Dolly Parton had a song she wrote go above and beyond her expectations entitled "Jolene". She says she wrote that song because of her husband. I guess maybe at the time she was jealous of this Jolene. I don't know. I hope one of my songs ends up doing that well too.
