Discovery of the Day:

Yesterday I was writing about Martha Jane Mitchem O'Neal and in searching the virtual cemetery where she was laid to rest I found a copy of an old photograph of her husband Daniel Harrison O'Neal. So I've added that photo below in the photograph section! As always, I'm interested in any pictures of O'Neal so check your old albums and forward any digital copies to me to share with my readers!

Getting the point:

The Psalmist was singing praise regarding the majesty of the temple in Judah which was located in Jerusalem on Mount Zion. You may wonder how can we set our heart on it?

Faith is not easily accepted. Most people need visual proof. The Psalmist gave ample solid proof how the literal towers of God's (Jehovah's) temple scared their enemies and gave sound illustrations of examples in the past why the Isrealites should have confidence in their God.

Carl Dean "Dolly Parton's husband "

I'm kinda new to the Country Music scene. I have written a few songs and I'm trying to get them demo ready. I'm hoping to promote  them to some big city Nashville executives" soon but honestly I could care less who buys them or records them as long as I get paid. That being said I'd love to get one of my songs in the public eye. Dolly Parton had a song she wrote go above and beyond her expectations entitled "Jolene". She says she wrote that song because of her husband. I guess maybe at the time she was jealous of this Jolene. I don't know. I hope one of my songs ends up doing that well too.
