Scripture of the Day : Mathew 28:19 "Go, therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit" Getting the Point: Baptism is a requirement. It in itself  dose not guarantee salvation. All it is is an outward show of faith. That is why I can't understand baptizing an infant. It dose not make any sense. Each individual must come to have faith and then dedicate their life to God in prayer in private and then with the symbol of water immersion. He wants us to choose to serve him freely. The O'Neal Times October 3, 2019 _______________________________ Scripture of the Day:                Mathew 5:3.      “Happy are those conscious of their spiritual need, since the Kingdom of the heavens belongs to them. Cross-refrences : Luke 6:20-"And he looked up at his disciples and began to say: “Happy are you who are poor, for yours is the Kingdom of God." They had a spiritual need.  There were supposedly many religious leaders in Jesus day. They were able to read the scriptures and they should have been awaiting for the Messiah and yet when he came he came in such a way that they were not impressed.  They were s...

The O'Neal Times Wyoming County West Virginia October 1, 2019 Edition Agenda : Looking for "O'Neal" October life events that took place in the past. ______________________________ Deaths :                 Record of  Death Lucinda Oneal Age: 1 year 7 months Residence: Wyoming County, West Virginia Cause : dysentery Burial: Cemetery: _______________________________ Letter From the Editor: Dear Readers, It's funny how you can find a record that tells you some information but withholds other. In today's record of the day it clearly shows who died, when and where. However it failed to highlight the why? When you pull up the actual record it's there. Lucinda Oneal "O'Neal" died of dysentery but on the actual record of death in the file it doesn't tell you that.  Also, what frustrated me was the fact that there was no mention of where she was buried. Information it did hold which I was great ful for however was whom her parents were Daniel and...
