History:

Letter From the Editor:

Dear Reader,

Today was a surprise day off for me. Which I so appreciated. I decided to have a huge sale in our huge outbuilding like an inside-sale. I put the huge sign out Jeans for $1.00 and not one car came by. What a waste of time and effort. We have sizes from 00 to 18 in women's and a lot of size 5's. We even have girls sizes 10-14's. These are really nice too.

Afterwards I decided to just finish writing today's blog. This edition is dedicated to an Unnamed O'Neal. According to the record of birth I found, she was never named and born dead. I guess that means she was a stillborn. It was a sad discovery but one I had previously missed. I have nicknamed her "Baby Arminta" after her momma. She is considered to be my third cousin three times removed.

Sincerely,

Ray A O'Neal

Unknown "Little Baby Arminta" O'Neal

Ancestry:

I have recorded this Unnamed "Arminta" O'Neal as a " Seventh Generation O'Neal" because I have traced her O'Neal lineage back five previous generations as follows;(James Remuel O'Neal, Daniel O'Neal, Jesse O'Neal, John H. O'Neal, James O'Neal, Unknown O'Neal).

Birth Information:

Baby Arminta O'Neal was born on September 10, 1894 in Kanawha County West Virginia. She was the fourth child of James R. O'Neal and Arminta Elkins O'Neal.

Death Information:

Baby Arminta O'Neal died before birth and must have been a stillborn. The birth record stated that she was born dead. She was evidently the first child to die in this family she had older siblings; John,Minnie,  Susie, Daniel, Bertha O'Neal.

Obituaries:

A recreation of what the obituary may have liked like. I haven't been able to find it yet if it ever existed.

Baby Arminta O'Neal was born dead on Sept 10, 1894 in Kanawha County West Virginia. She is survived by her parents James and Arminta Elkins O'Neal. She is also survived by her siblings John, Minnie, Susie, Daniel, and Bertha O'Neal.

Photos:

I'm not one to post pictures like so many people do but this picture of my beautiful wife and three of our babies was so touching! It was captured one year ago today!

Questions Unanswered:

Was the baby buried?

Where was the baby buried?

Is there a tombstone?

Did they name the baby later?

Does anyone have a picture of any of her siblings and or parents?

Scripture of the Day:

Psalms 46:8

"Come and witness the activities of Jehovah, How he has done astonishing things on the earth"

Getting the Point:

What exactly is Jehovah going to do that is so astonishing? The chapter speaks of him making wars to cease! Can any human bring about peace? The question is do you believe that he truly exists and that true peace will come to the Earth?
