Bible Verse of the Day:

                Titus 2:3,4

" Likewise, let the older women be reverent in behavior, not slanderous, not enslaved to a lot of wine, teachers of what is good,so that they may advise the younger women to love their husbands, to love their children,"

Getting the point:

Many people think that a woman's place is at home. This scripture shows that they can be teachers of what is good as well as being a mother and wife. Their conduct will have a bearing as to wether or not their teaching will reach the heart of their listeners. They can't teach one thing and do another. Also, notice that women should teach other women how they should behave. Much as a father would teach his son the family trade so too the mother would teach their young daughter and female friends their secrets to make life easier when raising a family. As a man we can see the type of woman Jehovah God approves of if we are looking for a capable wife we might ask ourselves  how dose she conduct herself and who are her role models?

Letter From the Editor:

Dear Reader,

It is already time to post this edition and I haven't found a single thing to write about yet. I usually get up earlier and  start researching and I always seem to find a birth, marriage or death that took place on any given day in the past that had something to do with the O'NEAL name but today was one of those days where I wasn't. So I'll tell you about what I'm doing to day.

I have been struggling with keeping my lawnmower running and my weed eater. So I'm hoping my friend Lulu Bishop's son can get both of them running today. Seeing as how I haven't been able to cut the grass I decided to work on creating flower boxes along my patio. This has turned out to be a three-day ordeal so far. Hopefully when they are finally complete my lawn equipment will be running so I can cut the grass along with the other five yards I'm trying to maintain. I cut grass on the side. I'd much rather be getting paid to writing about history.

If you have an O'Neal event that occurred on this date sometime in the past I'd love to hear or read about it!

Sincerely,
Ray A. O'Neal
