Born July 11, 1928 in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Frederick O’Neal and Ruth Anderson O’Neal Clevenger. He had previously been employed at Kogelschatz Funeral Home and later as a security guard for Red Fox Inn. He had been a volunteer fireman for Martinsburg Company No.1.
